I know several people who have walked away from or given up on God. Some never look back, but for the ones who do and wonder if He remembers them, if they can find their way back, the answer is "Yes." He never leaves us or forsakes us. He will always be there to lead us back to Him, to restore, to heal, to give us another chance. We can't wander too far away from God that He cannot reach us or hear us. With Him all things are possible - even what we think is impossible.
Psalms 116:2 Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
Isaiah 59:1 Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
